Our Story

For our family, jewelry has never been merely decorative. It is how history is carried forward.

Our story begins generations ago in the Philippines, where our great-great-grandparents wore pieces that would eventually be passed to our grandparents, then to our mother and uncle, and now to us. In our family, even babies are traditionally given gold. Jewelry has quite literally been part of our lives from the very beginning.

Today, we still preserve heirloom pieces containing gemstones from our great-grandparents’ wedding and engagement rings. These are more than beautiful objects- they are physical connections to the people who came before us—totems of family history, heritage, love, success, and accomplishment carried across multiple generations.

Growing up surrounded by these pieces developed into a deeper fascination with minerals, gemstones, precious metals, craftsmanship, and metalworking. We became captivated by the remarkable details behind genuine jewelry: how stones are formed, how metals are shaped, how settings are constructed, and how skilled hands transform natural materials into something meaningful enough to endure for generations.

That passion became PJGemsCo.

We believe jewelry should be more than a passing trend. It should feel personal, genuine, and worthy of becoming a part of someone’s story, even a multi-generational family story.
